NORMAN, Okla. -- Sherri Coale and members of the Sooner women's basketball team spent Monday evening in front of cameras at Lloyd Noble Center as part of the filming for the team's commercial and intro video.
Ashley and Courtney Paris, Jenna Plumley, Amanda Thompson, Carolyn Winchester and others all played parts in the making of the 2007 team commercial and intro videos.
Visual Image, in cooperation with the OU Athletics Marketing office, turned their attention to the women's team after spending a week in July shooting the annual football and men's basketball videos. Visual Image has created the football intro videos since the 2000 season and the men's and women's basketball videos for the past five years.
This year's theme was the "Student-Athlete Champion". The daily life of the student-athlete was depicted with scenes including studying, practice and travel.
The OU women's basketball team begins its season with home exhibition games against Henderson State (Nov. 1) and Oklahoma Christian (Nov. 6). For ticket information contact the OU Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 456-GoOU or (405) 325-2424.
