NORMAN, Okla. -- The Oklahoma baseball team's game at Texas Arlington, scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. start on Wednesday, April 25, has been postponed for the second consecutive day due to inclement weather that hit the Arlington area Tuesday night.  OU and UTA were originally scheduled to play each other on Tuesday, but rain postponed the game to Wednesday's start time.

The Sooners and Mavericks will now play a doubleheader on Tuesday, May 1 at L. Dale Mitchell Park at 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.  "Fan Appreciation Day", which was scheduled for the May 1 game against UTA in Norman, will now include both games of the doubleheader. All fans will receive free admission and $.50 popcorn and cokes will be available while supplies last.

Oklahoma has encountered trouble with weather in each of the last three weeks.  On April 10, the Sooners were rained out at Wichita State and last Tuesday, April 17, they waited two and half hours to play at TCU.
