Duo to Compete at XC Championships

NORMAN, Okla. Sooners Matt and Jon Grey will be among the field of 70 vying for a national title at the U.S. Cross Country Junior Championships in Boulder, Colo., Saturday, Feb. 10.

The Greys, identical twin brothers from Stewartstown, Pa., are entered in the junior men's 8,000-meter run at Flatirons Golf Course.

The Cross Country Championships is one of the nation's oldest sporting titles with the first races held in 1890.  The junior (under 20 years of age) events began in 1979.

The top six finishers will be selected to compete for the United States team at the 2007 IAAF World Cross Country Junior Championships in Mombasa, Kenya, Saturday, March 24.
