Oklahoma to Host TCU

Norman Okla.,- After three road matches the Sooners will return to the Headington Family Tennis Center Thursday March 1st. Oklahoma will match up with No. 24 Texas Christian University beginning at 2 p.m.. This will be the Sooners first match at home this season.

The Sooners are currently 2-3 and are coming off a devastating 4-3 road loss to No. 60 Alabama.

Junior Christi Baxley led Oklahoma in Alabama at the No. 4 spot. She pulled out a tough three set victory against Alabama's Alice Tunaru.

The Horned Frogs are coming into Thursday's match up after a 5-2 fall to No. 14 Baylor on Tuesday in Fort Worth. TCU is led at No. 1 singles by No. 23 Ana Cetnik. Cetnik is a senior from Belgrade, Serbia. After Tuesday's loss the Horned Frogs are 4-4 on the season.

Oklahoma and TCU first matched up in 1977 and have met 24 times since. Oklahoma currently trails 11-13 in the overall series. The last time the teams met was in 2006 when they played at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth. TCU swept the dual 7-0.
