NORMAN, Okla. -- Sophomore hurler Chase Anderson is the 18th and final installment of the 2008 Baseball Newcomer Video Spotlights brought to fans by SoonerSports.com.
Each spotlight includes an updated bio, Q&A session and a series of videos including practice footage and a scouting report from OU head coach Sunny Golloway.
In preparation for the 2008 season, SoonerSports.com featured one of the Sooners' newcomers each week throughout the rest of the year.
Anderson comes to OU after an impressive year at North Central Junior College and a stellar high school career in Wichita Falls.
Anderson and the Sooners completed fall practice last month and will resume team practice on Feb. 1. The Sooners set to open the 2008 season at UCLA on Feb. 22 for a three-game set.

Q: What three words describe you? A: Exciting, Athletic and Loving.
Q: What is one thing that fans don't know about you? A: I wash my truck every week.
Q: What's the one memory that stands out from your childhood? A: When my team made it to the state baseball tournament in high school.
Q: What was your favorite MLB team growing up? Now? A: The Boston Red Sox now and when I was growing up.

Q: What is your biggest accomplishment? A: My senior year in high school when I had three no hitters and led the state in strikeouts and ERA.
