Oklahoma junior center Courtney Paris
On her double-double streak ending at 64 games:
"I'm disappointed that it had to end. I never felt any pressure to keep it alive, but it was a personal goal of mine to keep it going because I felt like that kind of production is what the team needed out of me to be successful.

"I think you can credit our team on how good we've become in all areas of the game this season. Sometimes, in the past, if we couldn't get the ball to the post, we had difficulty staying in games. Now, any position on the court can take charge of our team and lead us -- that is a great feeling."

Oklahoma head coach Sherri Coale
On the game:
"We did some good things; we did some not so good things. We looked a little tired. No one would blame us if we were, but we're expecting more. I thought our attention to detail came and went as the score demanded.

"We started out great. Punched them in the mouth to start off and looked like we did against Arizona State (Thursday). Then we got a little passive and they knocked down some shots, which we weren't really expecting. Kind of took us on our heels, but we responded."

"I thought Jenna Plumley was better than she's been. She looked more like herself and played with a better cadence. Ashley (Paris), again, was fabulous -- 10-of-12 from the field, 4-of-4 from the line, career high. Nyeshia (Stevenson) was terrific, too."

"We did not do a good job on the boards. We gave up too many rebounds. Mississippi State had 17 offensive rebounds and that's just inattention to detail. That's wanting to rebound but not giving the effort to block out."

On Courtney Paris' double-double streak ending:
"That will be a record that will stand and stand and stand. All of us need to realize how fortunate we are to have been a part of that with her. That's going to be one of those things; I just told our kids in the locker room, in 20 years people are going to be talking about. It's such a special thing, but while you're in the middle of it you just come to expect it. You just don't recognize it as you should."

"Courtney was embarrassed that I even talked about it in the locker room, but I thought it was important to recognize the accomplishment of the streak itself. Not that Courtney felt any pressure toward it, but if there was any subtle pressures, now that's alleviated and she can go about her business. She'll probably start a new streak and it will go even higher. I think the only person capable of breaking that record is Courtney Paris."

On Nyeshia Stevenson's career day:
"She's a much improved shooter and she's getting more and more consistent on how the ball comes out of her hand. The main thing for Ny is making up her mind, is she going to shoot or is she going to drive. A lot of times she thinking drive while she's shooting and when she driving, she's thinking she should have shot. She kind of quieted her mind today and when she received it, her feet were ready and you could tell she was going to take the 3."
