NORMAN, Okla. -- The Oklahoma wrestling team is set to host the 37th annual Oklahoma Open this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 23-24 at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman.

The high school and junior division will get underway Friday and the college division will begin Saturday. Events for both days will kickoff at 9 a.m. and will last all day.

Oklahoma returns four champions from last year's event. Zack Bailey, Will Rowe, Joshua Weitzel and Joel Flaggert won the 133, 157, 174 and 197-pound divisions, respectively. Jeff James also placed third at 174 pounds.

All wrestlers must pay a $20 entry fee required at their respective weigh-in site. Tickets for spectators are $8 per-session or $20 for an all-session pass.

"This is another chance for our wrestlers to face some great competition," head coach Jack Spates said. "With each wrestler guaranteed at least two matches, the experience will be vital in preparing our team for the upcoming dual versus Oklahoma State."

Last week, the Sooners defeated the North Carolina State Wolfpack by a score of 30-9 in Norman. Oklahoma has a dual record of 4-0 on the season and travels to Stillwater, Okla., for the first edition of Bedlam next Sunday, Dec. 2 beginning at 2 p.m.
