  Blake Griffin paced the Sooners early, matching the Broncos' 10 total points through the first 6:53 of the contest. The 6-10 forward finished the half with 12 points and seven rebounds - two more boards than Fayetteville State's entire first-half effort.

  The Sooners scored the final 10 points of the first half to take a 43-25 lead.

 With his 18 points, Griffin finished the two-game exhibition schedule with 37 points on 17-of-21 (.809) shooting.  He averaged 18.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in 22.5 minutes a contest. 

 Keith Clark scored 12 points on 3-of-4 shooting, getting to the line eight times where he converted six attempts.

 Oklahoma's bench outscored the Broncos' reserves 43-19 and added 28 points off of 26 FSU turnovers. 

 OU outrebounded FSU 43-18 (17-to-2 on the offensive end) and scored 22 points on second-chance opportunities.

 The Sooners improved to 39-2 in exhibition games over the past 20 seasons.

 

 Tonight's game marked the first meeting between the schools.

 

 Junior Omar Leary started at point guard and dished out a team-high seven assists. Six of the junior college transfer's assists came in the first half.  He was 3-for-4 from 3-point range and finished with nine points in 23 minutes.

 

 One game after they went 12-for-21 (.571) from 3-point range, the Sooners made 11 more treys tonight on 28 attempts (.393).

 

 OU's top three scorers on the night hail from within the state.  Davis (19 points) is a freshman from Elk City, Griffin (18) is a freshman from Oklahoma City) and Clark (12) is a sophomore from Oklahoma City.
