OU's 50 first-half points were its most points in a first half since the opening game of last season. OU poured in 54 during the opening stanza against Norfolk State on Nov. 11, 2006. That game was also the last time the Sooners scored 99 points in a contest.
Ten Oklahoma players recorded a field-goal make in the first half, led by Longar Longar's 12 first-half points. Longar ended the game with 20 points in 20 minutes of action.
Longar's eight free throw makes marked a career high while his 10 attempts tied a personal best.
Tony Crocker scored 16 points on 5-for-6 shooting tonight and is now 14-for-19 (.737) from the field on the year.
Taylor Griffin is averaging 11.3 points a game on the young season, more than he scored in all but four of his 50 games played prior to this season. He finished with nine tonight.
