GAME NOTES
The Sooners were 22-for-32 in the first half with five offensive rebounds leaving only five shots not rebounded.
Carlee Roethlisberger subbed in for Abi Olajuwon at the 10:45 mark of the first quarter. She scored her first collegiate point five seconds later on a free throw.
Oklahoma's bench out-scored Henderson State 25-0 in the first half of play. Oklahoma's bench finished the game out-scoring Henderson State 61-8.
Oklahoma's four freshman combined for 39 percent (43 points) of the Sooners points. They went 18-of-6 from the field.
Three of Oklahoma's four freshman scored in double digits.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
Danielle Robinson
Freshman Danielle Robinson subbed in for Ashley Paris at the 16:09 mark of the first quarter. She scored her first collegiate points nine seconds later on a layup.
During 22 minutes of play Robinson scored 18 points, the team's second-highest total, only trailing Courtney Paris who had 19. She went 7-for-9 from the field.
Robinson led the Sooners in assists with four.
Robinson, the second player off the bench, led the team in minutes played with 22.
Courtney Paris
With 13 rebounds and 11 points in the first half, Courtney Paris recorded at double-double by halftime. The junior center went 3-for-3 from the field in the first half.
Paris led the Sooners with 19 points and 18 rebounds.
Abi Olajuwon
Sophomore Abi Olajuwon spelled Courtney Paris for just over three minutes beginning at the 14:00 minute mark of the first half. Henderson State got off only one shot in the paint during that stretch, a missed layup that was rebounded by Olajuwon. The Sooners went on an 11-0 run during that span.
Olajuwon shot 100 percent going 1-for-1 from the field and 2-2 from the free-throw line.
Jenny Vining
Freshman Jenny Vining led the Sooners in 3-point attempts (11) and 3-pointers made (4).
