NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma baseball program will welcome back former Sooners to Norman for the first alumni game in three years on Oct. 15 at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
The alumni weekend, which also includes a golf outing and tailgate for the OU football game versus Iowa State, will mark the final weekend of the current Sooners' fall practice. Oklahoma will officially conclude the fall with the Annual Red/White Scrimmage on Oct. 17-19.
The weekend will kick off with the Annual Home Run Club Golf Tournament on Friday, Oct. 13, at the Winter Creek Golf Course in Blanchard, Okla. The day will begin with a luncheon scheduled for noon and will be followed with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The cost for the golf outing is $100 and includes green fees and lunch.
On Saturday, Oct.14, the current Sooners will have a team practice and tailgate before the football game vs. Iowa State. Details on times will be available once the start time of the football game is announced. All alumni will be given up to two complimentary tickets for the Iowa State game, with the option of purchasing up to two more additional tickets.
On Sunday, Oct. 15, the alumni game will be played at L. Dale Mitchell Park. The contest is slated to begin at 1 p.m. and is open to the public.
