NORMAN, Okla. -- ESPN.com decided to have some with fun when comparing Oklahoma true-freshman Courtney Paris and Tennessee redshirt-freshman Candace Parker. Both are among the best players in the country, both are Wooden and Naismith Award candidates, both are the favorites for National Freshman of the Year and both have received the nickname of 'CP3.'
The moniker comes from the initials of their first and last names and well as they uniform number (3).

Will the real CP3 please stand up? That's "CP" -- for both Candace Parker of Tennessee and Courtney Paris of Oklahoma -- and the No. 3, which adorns both jerseys.
This season, the freshmen -- who were once roommates while competing for youth USA Basketball teams -- have become two of the nation's most dominant players. And while their stats speak for themselves, fans and message boarders have declared CP3 as the moniker for both.
