Upcoming Event: Women's Basketball versus North Carolina on November 2, 2026 at TBA

December 18, 2006 | Women's Basketball
NORMAN, Okla. -- The undefeated Oklahoma women's basketball (9-0) team faces its biggest challenge of the non-conference season when No. 8 Ohio State (9-1) visits a sold out Lloyd Noble Center on Wednesday night at 6.
The Sooners have won 23 straight regular season games, which is the longest active streak in Division I, and ironically have not lost a regular season contest since falling 75-71 at Ohio State last season. OU has also won 11 straight home games.
The sell out marks just the third time in program history a game has sold prior to the event. It also happened last season for the WhiteOUt game against Baylor.

During Sunday's press conference the questions about the matchup with Ohio State starting pouring in for Erin Higgins and Courtney Paris. That continued after practice on Monday, when Leah Rush was asked about the significance of the match up and the keys to victory.
