NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma women's cross country team runs its final regular-season event Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Indiana State University Pre-National Invitational in Terre Haute.

The race is held at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center, which will host the NCAA National Cross Country Championships for a third consecutive season.  With the debut of the new women's 6,000-meter LaVern Gibson Course, the meet holds more importance than in former years as coaches and competitors alike adjust to the new layout.
