NORMAN, Okla. Oklahoma senior guard Terrell Everett was honored as the Phillips 66 Big 12 Player of the Week on Monday after averaging 20.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists in wins over Baylor (82-52 on the road) and fourth-ranked Texas (82-72 at home) last week.
The 6-4, 188-pound Everett shot .533 (16-for-30) from the field on the week, .400 (4-for-10) from 3-point range and .833 (5-for-6) from the free throw line. Against Baylor, he logged 16 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals. In the win over Texas, Everett recorded 25 points (one shy of his career high), seven boards and eight assists. He made a career-high-tying 10 field goals on 15 attempts versus the Longhorns and played all 40 minutes.

This is Everett's fourth career Big 12 weekly honor after earning Rookie-of-the-Week acclaim three times last season.
Kansas freshman Mario Chalmers was named this week's Big 12 Rookie of the Week.
The Sooners, who have won four straight games and are now 13-4 overall and 4-2 in Big 12 competition, host Texas A&M on Wednesday at 7 p.m. (ESPN Plus) before traveling to Kansas for a Sunday game at noon (CBS).
