What other programs recruited you?
“Providence, Wichita State, Oral Roberts and Southwest Missouri State all recruited me.”

Were you surprised when you were offered a scholarship at Oklahoma?
“Yeah, I didn't think they were looking at me. As my senior year went on, they started showing more interest in me. I couldn't pass up the opportunity when I was offered a scholarship.”

What are some of your goals for this season?
“I want to keep improving in my shooting. As a team, I just want to win. We need to do whatever it takes to win.”

“I'd say we need to be better defensively.”

What team goals have you all set for this year?
“We're trying to win the Big 12 again. We want to progress as far as we can in the tournament, hopefully get to the Final Four. That's been our goal from the start.”

Which games are you most excited about on the upcoming schedule?
“Texas and Oklahoma State here at home. Of course because they are our rivalries. Also because we've got to make sure we protect our home court.”

If you could play on any court, where would it be?
“The United Center in Chicago. Michael Jordan that's all you've got to know.”

What would you like to do after college?
“I want to do something with sports and television, behind or in front of the camera.”

Which sports personality do you emulate?
