Cross Country Takes Road Trip to Little Rock

NORMAN, Okla. The University of Oklahoma men's and women's cross country teams hit the road for their second meet of the season at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock Saturday, Sept. 24.

The men, led by team captain Blake Culp, will begin their 8K race at 9:50 a.m. and the women, led by team captain Andrea Bonner, run their 5K at 11:10 a.m.

The races will be run at the Rebsamen Golf Course in Little Rock.  Though not a traditional stop for the Sooners, both the men's and women's teams took first place during their last visit in 1998.

Possible inclement weather from Hurricane Rita should make for an interesting day for all of the runners.
