Fast Break Club Visits With OU Women's Basketball Players

NORMAN, Okla.-- University of Oklahoma Fastbreak Club hosted an ice cream social Tuesday night at Reeves Park in Norman. Members of the Fastbreak Club shared the evening with the OU women's basketball team and head coach Sherri Coale.
“We are very excited to see our Fast Break Club thinking about basketball in the middle of the summer," said Coale. "Our program is blessed to have such an involved group of supporters.”
The ice cream social was a first time in many years that the Fast Break Club has held a summer event. It provided a nice break from the normal summer routine. This event is just one of the many projects the Fast Break Club provides.
The Fastbreak Club has assisted in many other projects for the program. Those projects include their annual golf tournament at the Jimmy Austin University of Oklahoma golf course, and enhancements to the Mary Jane Noble Women's Basketball Center.
Members of the Fast Break Club are a significant part of the OU Women's Basketball program. The Club provides its members with opportunities to meet and visit with coaches and players within the program. To join simply donate a tax-deductible gift payable to the OU Foundation, designated for women's basketball. The minimum gift amount is $100.
