NORMAN, Okla. -- Two weeks removed from a thrilling 5-4 victory for OU over then No. 22 Texas Christian, the Sooners and Horned Frogs meet again on Tuesday, April 12, this time in Norman, Okla.
OU (19-12 overall, 5-4 Big 12) and TCU (22-10, 9-3 Conference USA) will start things off at 7 p.m. at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
The Sooners hold a considerable edge in the all-time series with the Horned Frogs. In 73 meetings, OU has recorded 49 victories and 21 of those “W's” have come under current OU head coach Larry Cochell.

The OU versus TCU game will be broadcast live on KOKC (1520 AM) with Chuck Kelly calling the play-by-play. The pre-game show will start 15 minutes prior to the scheduled first pitch. All times and availability are subject to change. Live stats will also be available through SoonerSports.com.

GAME TICKETS AND PROMOTIONS
Seats to the game are available for $8 (reserved), $5 (general admission) and $3 (youth and groups of ten or more) at the OU Athletics Ticket Office (800-456-4668) and at SoonerSports.com. The gates will open an hour and a half before game time. Tuesday will also mark $.50 hot dog and coke night at L. Dale Mitchell Park.

The Horned Frogs have played ten games since dropping a 5-4 decision to OU in Forth Worth, Texas, and are 8-2 in that span, losing to Saint Louis and East Carolina. TCU has won five straight games entering Tuesday's contest and will throw (RHP) Chad Underwood against the Sooners. Underwood has one start under his belt this season in a win against UT-Arlington last week. He went four innings, allowing a run and three hits, while striking out two and walking one. Underwood has 19 appearances this season (38 innings pitched) and is 3-1 with a 4.50 ERA and 34 strikeouts.
Shelby Ford, who collected two hits against the Sooners in game one this season, is batting .368 on the season (team high) with four homers and 24 RBI, ranking third and second on the team, respectively. In addition to Ford, three other Horned Frogs have collected 20 or more RBI (Andrew Walker-25, Chad Huffman-23 and J.J. Estrada-23).
LAST MEETING WITH TCU
The Oklahoma baseball team came back to top No. 22 TCU, 5-4, on March 22 at Lupton Stadium after Chuckie Caufield stole home to take the lead in the ninth inning. Daniel McCutchen nailed down his second save of the season after recording a double play (5-4-3) to end the contest.
Jared Freeman and P.J. Sandoval also performed nicely out of the OU bullpen and held the Horned Frogs' offense scoreless after the third inning. TCU only recorded three hits after the four-run third inning as Freeman (1.2 innings) struck out two batters and Sandoval added two more punch outs in 3.1 innings to record the win.
TCU's Chad Underwood suffered his first loss of the year. After trailing 4-1 for the first seven innings, the Sooners rallied with a single run in the seventh, two more in the eighth to knot things up and then Caufield's stolen base gave OU the lead.

KANSAS POST-SERIES NOTES
OU defeated Kansas 7-5 and 11-9 in the first two games of the three-game set to record the series victory before dropping the finale, 9-3. The Sooners' overall mark against the Jayhawks improved to 91-46 (36-11 at home).
Sunday's 9-3 loss snapped OU's five-game winning streak at home and it marked just the third loss of the season suffered at L. Dale Mitchell Park in 18 games. The last time OU was defeated in Norman came in the series opener against Texas A&M on March 24.
Chuckie Caufield's double in the fifth frame extended his hitting streak to nine games. In that span the junior is batting .350 (raising his batting average 21 points since the streak started) with 14 hits (3 doubles) and three RBI.
After Kansas had posted six errors in the series' first two games, OU returned the favor in the finale with a season-high six errors. The seven runs in the KU first inning on Sunday was also a season high allowed by the Sooners, the six surrendered to Nevada earlier this year was the previous high.
