Wrestling Awards Banquet Set For April 24

NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma wrestling team will celebrate its third place finish at the NCAA Championships with an awards banquet at 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 24. The event will take place at the Kerr McGee Courtside Club in the Lloyd Noble Center and will feature music and entertainment.

The Sooners will honor two-time national champion, Teyon Ware, as well as All-Americans Sam Hazewinkel, Matt Storniolo and Joel Flaggert, along with the rest of the Oklahoma wrestling family.

The awards banquet is open to the public; the cost is $15 per person. For more information, contact Shelly Harmon at (405) 325-8361. If you plan on attending, RSVP to Harmon by April 19.
