NORMAN, Okla. -- The OU baseball team's series opener against Western Illinois on Saturday, Feb. 26 has been moved back to a 3:30 p.m. start at L. Dale Mitchell Park. The game, originally scheduled for 1 p.m., will now be broadcast live on KOKC 1520 after the OU men's basketball game versus Baylor at 12:30 p.m. and before the OU women's basketball game at 7 p.m.
OU (4-2) will look to extend its current four-game winning streak against the Leathernecks (4-4) on Saturday. WIU is coming off a three-game series against Texas Tech in which the won game two of the series, 6-1.
The series continues on Sunday at 1 p.m. and will conclude on Monday at 3 p.m.
Seats to all three game are available for $8 (reserved), $5 (general admission) and $3 (youth and groups of ten or more) at the OU Athletics Ticket Office (800-456-4668) and at SoonerSports.com. The gates will open an hour and a half before game time.
Promotions for the weekend include: Saturday - Run the Bases - children can run around the bases after the game; Sunday - Church Bulletin - bring your church bulletin to the game and receive two dollars off a general admission ticket; Monday - Senior Citizen Day - anyone 65 years or older will receive two dollars off a general admission ticket.
