NORMAN, Okla. -- The Oklahoma Athletics Tickets Office announced Tuesday afternoon that season tickets for the upcoming women's basketball season have already eclipsed totals from the 2004-05 campaign and are approaching records numbers. Fans are encouraged to scoop up the best available seats quickly with the season opener just around the corner.
“It illustrates that the local community is excited about this team and the product we will put on the floor,” said OU head coach Sherri Coale. “They have every right to be anxious. As a coaching staff, we are just as excited.”
“We can't wait to see Leah Rush, Erin Higgins and the Paris twins hit the floor in front our fans at the Lloyd Noble Center. They have always been strong supporters of our teams and with the high-caliber home opponents we have scheduled, we are will need that home-court advantage more than ever.”

A variety of ticket plans are available:
Reserved Level season tickets are $107 and give the owner rights to seats in the lower bowl. General Admission are $80, which includes one ticket to all 14 home games including the first and second rounds of the Preseason WNIT and a seat in the upper concourse.
The popular Flex Plan season tickets are $80 as well and include 14 tickets that can be used in any combination for any number of games. All of the Flex Plan seats are located in the upper concourse.
Family Packs are also available in the reserved area at a cost of $10 a ticket. Family Packs include a ticket and a coupon for a hot dog, soft drink and a t-shirt voucher, redeemable at OU Authentic located on Campus Corner in Norman. A minimum of four tickets must be purchased based on availability.
Group tickets are available for all regular season games, including the Preseason WNIT. Prices are $3 for groups of 10-99 and $2 for groups of 100 or more.

Rush, a member of the Preseason All-Big 12 Team, and Courtney Paris, Preseason Big 12 Freshman of the Year, will lead the Sooners into the regular season on Nov. 11 against Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The contest is part of the Preseason WNIT, in which OU has the capability of playing four home games with possible opponents like UConn, New Mexico and Cal.
OU, which has been ranked in the top-25 of three preseason publications, will conclude preparation for the 2005-06 season with a home exhibition game against Oklahoma Christian on Nov. 3.
