The Sooner offense was never able to get on track in the match and only hit at a .161 clip, compared to the Buffaloes' .238 clip. Sophomore Sarah Weiland led the offensive production, tallying 10 of OU's 39 kills for the match. It marked the first time this season that Weiland solely recorded the most kills of any Sooner in a match.

Adding to Weiland's production was junior Joanna Schmitt who tallied nine kills and led the team with a clip of .250.
Defensively,
Sophomore Anna Stadel led the Sooner effort at the net, posting two solo blocks and four block assists. Senior Gabriela Tonon tied her career record at OU with five block assists while
In the back row, junior Anna Monsen collected a season-high 14 digs after taking over the starting libero duties in the final two matches.
“I was extremely pleased with Anna's (Monsen) work tonight,” head coach Santiago Restrepo said. “She played very well in the final two games.”
Other contributors defensively were setters Julie Chester and Rachel Jackson, who tallied six and five digs, respectively. Schmitt also tallied five digs.
OU was unable to stop CU's Allie Griffin, the CVU Player of the Week, who contributed a match-high 19 kills on an impressive .351 clip.
The Sooners return home this Wednesday for a 7 p.m. match up against the Texas Tech Red Raiders inside the Howard McCasland Field House.
