The Sooners led by 12 points with 7 minutes to play before the Longhorns (11-6, 4-2) started their comeback.

Daria Mieloszynska hit a 3-pointer, Jamie Carey added a layup in transition and Jackson banked in a short jump shot as the Longhorns reeled off seven straight points. Norman cut the Sooners' lead to 60-56 on a driving layup with 5 minutes to play.

The Longhorns pulled to 65-62 on a three-point play by Jackson, and Carey drilled a 3-pointer from the right wing to tie it up.

Rush cut to the basket for a layup to give Oklahoma the lead, but Kala Bowers hit an off-balance jumper from just inside the 3-point line to send the game to overtime.

Bowers finished with 12 points and Carey added 10 for Texas.

Oklahoma built a 40-26 lead early in the second half as Texas missed its first seven shots after halftime. Norman led the Longhorns' resurgence with six straight points, including two layups in transition and two free throws.

They drew to 47-41 following a three-point play by Bowers, but Oklahoma rallied for six straight points and led by 12 after a jumper by Dionnah Jackson from the right side.

After that, Oklahoma couldn't hold the Longhorns at bay.
