Salute to the Military Kids' Clinic

NORMAN, Okla. -- The Oklahoma baseball progam hosted its second annual Salute to the Military game on Saturday, May 15, at L. Dale Mitchell Park in Norman.
An invitation-only baseball clinic for kids and various skills contests that featured members of the armed services as contestants were highlights of the day. OU defeated UT-Pan American, 12-2, in the game.
Prior to the game, Oklahoma coaches and players conducted an invitation-only baseball clinic for children of the militray.
Selected military personnel also participated in a pre-game home run derby contest before honorary coaches joined in on a ceremonial first pitch.
