DALLAS, Texas -- Caton Hill scored 20 points, including a tiebreaking 3 midway through the second half that helped No. 19 Oklahoma beat Texas A&M, 60-47, Tuesday night in the first round of the Big 12 tournament.

Hill broke a tie at 29 with a 3-pointer, but the Aggies clawed back ahead. Then Hill broke a 35-all tie with another shot from beyond the arc, starting a 12-4 run that put the Sooners (20-8) ahead for good.

Having reached 20 wins for a fourth straight season, Oklahoma's next challenge is No. 13 Colorado on Wednesday.

A&M (9-17) ended the season losing its last three games, seven of eight and 15 of 17. First-year coach Gary Blair almost certainly ended his streak of six straight postseason appearances -- all while at Arkansas.
