OU Looks to Continue Success at Puerto Rico Classic

The Oklahoma men's golf team continues its spring season in Puerto Rico at the Puerto Rico Classic which runs Sunday through Tuesday, Feb. 22-24.
The Sooners are coming off a successful Taylor Made Waikoloa Intercollegiate. As a team, OU finished 5th and freshman Anthony Kim became the first Sooner medalist since John Kidwell in September 2002. All five Oklahoma starters recorded season-low round scores in the last tournament.
Following the Puerto Rico Classic, the OU men's golf team will be off untill March 15 when it takes part in the Morris Willams Intercollegiate in Austin, Texas.
Rankings
The Sooners will be facing some of the nation's best at the Puerto Rico Classic. Six of the teams in action are currently ranked in the top 10 of the GolfWeek Poll, including top-ranked Florida.

Martin Flores (Sr., Mansfield, Texas) - The senior leader has participated in every tournament since coming to OU (40)... Recorded a season-low three-round 215 at the Taylor Made Waikoloa Intercollegiate... Finished third individually at the Inverness Intercollegiate to lead the Sooners... Shot a three-round 217 at the Carpet Capital Collegiate.
