TULSA, Okla. -- Preseason All-American Dionnah Jackson recorded just the second triple double in Oklahoma (4-2) women's basketball history by registering 15 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
However, the senior point guard couldn't will OU to victory as the Sooners lost to Tulsa, 67-59, in the Bertha Teague Classic Saturday afternoon inside the Mabee Center on ORU's campus.
Former Sooner LaNae Jones became the first OU player to produce a double double with 12 points, 17 rebounds and 11 blocks against Southern on Dec. 29, 1993.
The Golden Hurricane (5-0) defeated the Sooners for the first time in 22 tries, snapping OU's 21-game winning streak against TU. It also ended OU's 11-game winning streak in Bertha Teague Classic games.

Once again, OU struggled from the field hitting just 37 percent (26-of-70) overall and 11 percent from the three-point line (2of-18). OU made seven trips to the free throw line, compared to Tulsa's 27 appearances. TU connected on 21 foul shots.
Sophomore Leah Rush led OU with 17 points and ranked second with nine boards.
Oklahoma outrebounded TU, 43-to-39, and had 20 assists to 26 field goals made.
