COLLEGE STATION, Texas-- University of Oklahoma men's tennis won four of seven singles matches Saturday against LSU in the second day of competition at the Texas A&M Invitational.
In singles action, senior Ondrej Fukala won the first set against Peter Richman, 6-4. Richman fought back to win the second set, 2-6, but Fukala regained control and won the three-set match, 6-4, 2-6, 6-3. Junior Tommy Garrison defeated Paul White, 6-3, 6-3. Junior Lee Gregg beat Colt Gaston, 6-4, 6-1, while freshmen Federico Chavarria overcame Kevin Dessauer in a tough three-set match, 6-3, 6-7, 6-4.
In doubles play, LSU swept the Sooners.
The Sooners resume play Sunday when they face Arizona at 9 a.m.
