HOUSTON -- The Oklahoma softball team (11-0) defeated the UT-San Antonio Roadrunners, 5-3, at the Spring Klein College Classic Saturday afternoon.
Jamie Fox continued her series of stellar performances, driving in two runs with a triple in the bottom of the third inning. Fox scored two at-bats later on a wild pitch.
The Roadrunners started strong by opening the game with a two-run lead after two plates appearances. UTSA started with a leadoff walk and then the No. 2 hitter drove a Stacy Braddock pitch over the center field fence.

Braddock, OU's starting pitcher, also threw two wild pitches in the top of the third that allowed a Roadrunner to score.
OU answered back, however, scoring a run when Norelle Dickson reached the plate after the UTSA catcher overshot second base on an attempted steal by Jessica Leslie.
The Sooners opened up the flood gates in the bottom of the fourth, scoring four runs that were helped by two Roadrunner errors.
The Sooners return to the field 9 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 17, against Southern Mississippi.
