Former Sooners Return For Baseball Almuni Game On Oct. 26

Former University of Oklahoma baseball letterwinners will return to Norman and gather for an alumni game on October 26 at L. Dale Mitchell Park. The first of its kind in the last 10 years at OU, the alumni game will announce the end to the current Sooners' fall practice and will cap off a special almuni weekend which also includes a golf outing for the former players. The game will begin at 1 p.m. and is free to the public.
The weekend will kickoff with an alumni golf outing on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the OU Jimmy Austin Golf Course. Registration for the event will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. A luncheon will then be hosted for the participants at L. Dale Mitchell Park following the golfing event. The cost for the golf outing is $65 and includes green fees and lunch.
On Sunday, a home run hitting contest will precede the alumni game at 12:15 p.m. Then at 1 p.m., the former Sooners will square off with each other for a full nine inning contest.
Alumni participants are required to pay a $35 fee which will include special alumni game apparel and a copy of the alumni group photo taken before the game.
