Welch Speaks to Sooner Fans

DAEGU, South Korea The following is short diary from Oklahoma's Chelsi Welch. Enjoy!

Wow! What a night! Although we came up short in our game today vs. Serbia, 12 girls still find a way to have fun. We had our own little discotheque in the hotel. It was so much fun! LaToya Davis taught everyone the simple "bunny hop" dance. Only, she knows the advanced version of it. We were all in sync with one another as Erin (Grant) got the whole thing on her home video camera. Heather brought out her "harlem shake," but most of the camera was being hogged by LaToya. We begged and begged Anne (O'Neil) to show her stuff, but she said she wants to save it for tomorrow night. We plan on going to the real discotheque then.

Once we thought the party was over, Coach Stein walked in! She was a great sport. Annissa (Hastings) and Toya went through the steps and she went right along. Evan (Unrau) was just a little bit embarrassed. We never did get Coach Harris up. Now there's just a heated game of spades going on where Coach Harris and Sweet (Toccarra Williams) dominate and make sure everyone hears about it.

Czech Republic is next, and I'm sure they don't have the moves we have!
