NORMAN, Okla. - Wednesday's scheduled baseball game between the University of Oklahoma and the Air Force Academy at L. Dale Mitchell Park has been cancelled due to Air Forces' travel difficulties. Due to the tie-up with military aircraft for the current war effort in Iraq, the academy was not able to secure a military flight to make the trip. The contest has already been rescheduled to be played during the 2004 season.
Following tonight's conteste at Wichita State, the Sooners' next slated opponent is the Kansas Jayhawks. KU travels to Norman for a three-game series beginning Friday at 6:35 p.m. at L. Dale Mitchell Park. The final two games of the series on Saturday and Sunday are scheduled for 2 p.m. start times.
