Oklahoma ready for Cleveland Golf Classic

The University of Oklahoma men's golf team will compete in the 2003 Cleveland Golf Classic next week (March 3-4 ) in Westlake, Calif. The tournament will be held at the North Ranch Country Club (par 71, 6,900). The 54-hole tournament will consist of 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday.

Sooner Golfers in the Rankings

OU is currently ranked 18th in the Precept Coaches Poll. Individually, senior John Kidwell (Dallas, Texas) was listed as one of the players to watch in the GolfWorld college preview. Kidwell earned medalist honors at the Sooner Invitational last fall with a three-round total of 205 (-11).
