Sooners-Bearkats Baseball Series Finale Cancelled

NORMAN, Okla. - The Oklahoma baseball team endured its fifth cancellation of the young season as its series finale with Sam Houston State was cancelled on Sunday due to freezing precipitation in Norman. The cancellation comes a day after the Sooners swept the Beakats in a doubleheader that they were forced to play because of the postponement of Friday's contest between the two teams.

OU returns to action next weekend when it faces Southwest Missouri State, No. 23 Ohio State and Lamar in the Lamar Tournament in Beaumont, Texas. The Sooners open with the SMSU on Friday at 2 p.m.
