NORMAN, Okla. - Maria Villarroel scored 17 points as No. 16 Oklahoma cruised past Wichita State, 89-50.

The Sooners (10-1) took a 38-23 lead into the break after holding the Shockers to only 28 percent shooting in the first half.

Caton Hill scored 12 points and Laura Andrews had 11 for Oklahoma, which has won back-to-back games after suffering a 71-55 loss to Tennessee on December 21.

Dionnah Jackson chipped in 10 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for the Sooners, who improved to 12-6 in the all-time series vs. Wichita State.

Carlesa Dennis registered 22 points and nine rebounds but committed six of the Shockers' 23 turnovers.
