Season tickets sold out; limited number of mini-season tickets and holiday family packs still available.
NORMAN, Okla. The University of Oklahoma Athletics Ticket and Marketing Offices announced today that 2003-04 men's basketball season tickets have sold out and that supplies are low for the “Sooner Mini-Season Package,” a $99 partial season ticket to the Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Purdue, Jackson State, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Texas and Texas A&M games.
Additionally, $15 restricted admission tickets are all that remain for Tuesday's home game versus Tulsa. Restricted admission tickets will go on sale at Lloyd Noble Center's north and east box offices at 5:30 p.m. the day of the game.
“Sooner Saver Holiday Family Packs” are still available for the Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Dec. 2), Prairie View A&M (Dec. 13), Jackson State (Dec. 20) and Texas-Pan American (Dec. 29) home games. For $10 each, fans receive a game ticket, a regular hot dog, a small soda and a coupon redeemable for an OU t-shirt. A minimum order of four admissions is required per game and orders must be placed at least one day in advance of the game.
The OU Athletics Department also announced that an individual game ticket sale will take place Monday, Dec. 1 for the Purdue (Dec. 11), Prairie View A&M, Jackson State and Texas-Pan American games.
The OU men's basketball team begins its 2003-04 regular season Friday and Saturday by hosting the Sooner Invitational. Kelvin Sampson's squad will face Eastern Washington (18-13 a year ago with an NIT appearance) at 8:15 p.m. Friday. That contest will follow the Oral Roberts/South Carolina State game that begins at 6 p.m. Saturday's consolation and championship games will be played at 6 and 8:15 p.m., respectively.
Upper-level tickets are still available for the Sooner Invitational for $15 apiece. Tickets can be ordered by calling (405) 325-2424 or (800) 456-4668. The OU Athletics Ticket Office is located on the ground floor of the south end of the Asp Ave. Parking Garage, immediately west of Memorial Stadium.
