OU Men's Tennis Heads To Hurricane Invitational

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma men's tennis team continues the fall portion of its 2002-03 season Friday at the 10th annual Hurricane Men's Tennis Invitational in Tulsa, Okla. The three-day tournament will be held at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

The tournament field will include Arkansas, Drake, Oklahoma State, Southwest Missouri State, Tulane and host school Tulsa. Results will be recorded as individual scores as no team results will be kept.

Six Sooners will be competing this weekend including senior Matt Ogle (Tulsa, Okla.), sophomores Alex Nomicos (Targoviste, Romania), Matt Lopez (Enid, Okla.), Matt Long (Fort Worth, Texas) and Brad Prigmore (Wichita Falls, Texas) and freshman Tommy Garrison (Enid, Okla.).

Singles action in the main draw is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. while the main draw in doubles begins at 2 p.m. First round losers in doubles begin competition in the backdraw on Friday at 1:30 p.m while the singles backdraw begins at 9 a.m. Saturday.
