Junior Blake Martin Ties For 13th At Rice Planters Amateur

NORMAN, Okla. - Junior Blake Martin (Stigler, Okla.), senior Parker Foster (Tulsa, Okla.) and junior Doug Manor (Garland, Texas) were among the 103 competitors at the 30th annual Rice Planters Amateur Championship on July 3-6 at the Snee Farm Country Club (6,834 yards, par 72) in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. Martin carded a final-round 70 on Saturday to tie for 13th with a total of 286 (-2). Foster shot one-under on the final day to tie for 31st with a a total of 292 (+4) while Manor finished one shot back to tie for 34th.

Manor, senior John Kidwell and junior Martin Flores will be competing at the Southern Amateur at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Ga., on July 17-20.
