Senior John Kidwell Ties For 10th At Dogwood Invitational

NORMAN, Okla. - A pair of Oklahoma men's golfers competed at the 35th annual Dogwood Invitational last week at the Druid Hills Golf Club (6,576 yards, par 72) in Atlanta, Ga. Senior John Kidwell (Dallas, Texas) and junior Martin Flores (Mansfield, Texas) were among the field of 88 competitors.

Kidwell fired a 66 on the last day of competition to tie for 10th with a total score of 278 (-10). It was the second 66 he carded during the tournament and it was his best finish of the summer thus far. Flores carded a final-round 78 to tie for 78th overall.

Looking ahead at the upcoming tournaments this summer, junior Blake Martin and junior Doug Manor will be competing at the Rice Planters Amateur at Snee Farm Country Club in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., on July 3-6.
