OU Tip In Club Golf Classic And Dinner Set For August 9

NORMAN, Okla. - OU men's basketball coach Kelvin Sampson and his staff will host the 13th Annual Tip In Club Golf Classic Friday, Aug. 9, at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Course. Tee times will be at 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Fans not wishing to partake in golf may purchase tickets to the 7 p.m. dinner party for $30 per couple. The dinner, along with the silent and live auctions, will be held at the new Kerr-McGee Courtside Club at Lloyd Noble Center.

Cost for golf is $150, which includes:

  • Green fee and cart
  • Lunch at the golf course (11:30 a.m.)
  • Two tickets for dinner and auctions (RSVP)
  • Long drive and closest-to-the-hole contests
  • Team picture with Kelvin Sampson
  • Door prizes (at dinner)
  • Golf windbreaker
  • Beverages on the course
  • Awards for top two teams
