Game 3 - Oklahoma 11, Oklahoma State 3

  • Oklahoma exploded for six runs in the bottom of the seventh the break open a close game and give the Sooners a 11-3 victory over Oklahoma State in the first game of the night session.

  • Center fielder Reggie Willits capped off the six-run outburst with a towering home run into the left field bleachers to give the Sooners a 10-3 advantage over their in-state rivals.

  • Oklahoma opened the scoring in the bottom half of the first on a double by Jason Fransz to give the Sooners a 1-0 lead.

  • The Cowboys took the lead in the top of the third, thanks to a single by Daylon Monette and Rob Watson scored on a passed ball by Sooner catcher Spencer Wyman.
