1. Who was your favorite Major League Team growing up? Why?
Growing up, I always loved the Atlanta Braves because they always won and they were always the best team.

2. Who is your favorite player? Did you pattern your game after his?
My favorite player has always been Pete Rose. I don't necessarily have the same style of play as him, but I always try to play each game and practice with the same intensity he did.

3. Why did you choose Oklahoma to continue your baseball and academic
career? I chose OU because it is close to my hometown, Broken Arrow. I'm excited to be playing for Oklahoma because I have grown up always admiring and watching OU sports.

4. What are your goals for this season, both as a team and personally?
My main goal is to go to the College World Series in Omaha and I will do whatever the team needs me to do to achieve that.

5. What are your baseball superstitions?
I am very superstitious about always playing a game with my gold necklace that is a baseball glove. I never leave home without it!

6. Where do you see yourself in ten years?
I would really like to achieve my dream and be playing professional baseball in ten years, but if that does not work out I have always enjoyed the idea of being a successful businessman.

7. What is your favorite fast food restaurant and what do you order there?
I love Taco Bueno and it is so much better than Taco Bell. The bueno chilada is the best deal for your money.

8. What is your favorite article of clothing?
I always wear polo shirts. They come in every color possible and they are comfortable yet classy at the same time.

9. What is your favorite meal?
Breakfast is the best meal of the day and it is a great day to start your day off. I could eat breakfast food for lunch and dinner also!

10. What's the best piece of advice you have ever received?
My dad has always given me good advice and it is always simple and straight to the point. My favorite quote from him is, "Watch the ball when you are batting."
