1. Who was your favorite Major League team growing up? Why?
I am a native of Texas so I have always been an avid Texas Rangers fan.

2. Who is your favorite player? Did you pattern your game after his?
The great Texas Ranger pitcher, Nolan Ryan, is my favorite player. I have tried to adopt Nolan's hard-nose approach to pitching.

3. What is your fondest memory from playing baseball?
My greatest memory so far has been hosting a regional at Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City.

4. What's the best piece of advice you have ever received? Who was it from?
My pitching coach, Coach Hayward, always tells me, "Don't think, just pitch."

5. Why did you choose Oklahoma to continue your baseball and academic
career? Oklahoma is a wonderful academic institution as well as an organization with rich baseball tradition and I knew this was the type of place I wanted.

6. What is your most embarassing moment?
It was very humiliating to lose all three games to Oklahoma State last year. I don't want that to ever happen again!

7. What is your favorite article of clothing?
I could not live without my hat collection. They are my favorite things to wear.

8. What are your baseball superstitions?
I don't believe in changing my hat, cleats, gloves, or socks if I play well. However, I change all of these if I don't do well.

9. Why do you wear the jersey number 27?
I wear this number because it was given to me my freshman year and it has worked well for me ever since!

10. What is one interesting fact that people don't know about you?
I am not real skilled in dancing, in fact, I can't dance at all!
