Women's Tennis Team Falls To Clemson, 5-2

NORMAN, Okla. - In its third and final day of competition, the No. 42 Oklahoma women's tennis team (10-3) fell to Clemson, 5-2, on Wednesday in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Tigers improve to 8-6 on the season. The Sooners posted wins over Chaminade and Hawaii earlier this week to go 2-1 while in Hawaii.
Freshmen Heather Saluri and Bethany Griffin won No. 3 and No. 5 singles, respectively, in easy two set matches, while Annette Bryntesson and Jessica Braver were victorious at No. 3 doubles. Sophomore Anda Perianu and juniors Elena Jirnova and Bryntesson took their singles matches to three sets, but fell by a margin of less than two points.
