1. Who was your favorite Major League team growing up? Why?
I was always a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals because they had the greatest baseball player ever in Ozzie Smith. He was so much fun to watch!
2. What is your fondest memory from playing baseball?
My greatest memory was winning the Division Two Baseball Championship in High School. It was an experience I will never forget, but I liked it most of all because Evan Greusel did not win the championship that year!
3. Why did you choose Oklahoma to continue your baseball and academic
career?
I chose Oklahoma because I wanted to play in a great baseball conference like the Big Twelve and I knew we would be a National Championship contending team.
4. What are your goals for this season, both as a team and personally?
I feel that my personal goals are the same as my team goals. I plan to win a regional and super regional and then go on to win the College World Series. However, most of all I would like to sweep Oklahoma State.
5. What is your favorite meal?
My favorite meal would definitely have to be Hooters buffalo wings and deep fried shrimp. There is nothing better!
6. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you have to take with you?
If I was stranded, I wouldn't need anything else but my girlfriend, a television with satelite, and a couch to lounge on.
7. What is your most embarrassing moment? Why?
I was really humiliated when Coach Cochell was giving a pep talk and I spouted out "April Fools" in front of the whole team.
8. What is your favorite fast food restaurant and what do you order there?
I am from California and we have a great burger place called In 'N' Out. I crave their greasy burgers when I am away from home.
9. If there was a movie made about your life, what would it be called? Who
would play you?
I would want a movie of my life to be called, "Just Shoot Me," because I do stupid things everyday of my life. I think Johnny Knoxville could portray me very well.
10. Why do you wear the jersey number you do?
I wear number 22 because Jarod McAuliff, a freshmen, stole my number 2.
