1. Who is your favorite player? Did you pattern your game after his?
My favorite player was Mike Piazza until he left my favorite team, the Dodgers, so now I can't say that I have one. I play my own style and don't really pattern my game after anyone in particular.

2. What are your goals for this season, both as a team and personally?
My main goal is to play aggressively and with the right mind-set everyday. I know that if I accomplish that, the goal of a College World Series will be easier to achieve.

3. What are your baseball superstitions?
All baseball players have superstitions and I have a few. I never tie my shoes without double knotting my cleats. You will never see me wearing my hat when I am on offense. I always rub my hands in the dirt before every inning starts.

4. Where do you see yourself in ten years?
In ten years, I plan to be in California where there is fresh, clean air. I will be married to my beautiful wife and we will have two kids. I will be loving and enjoying every minute of my life.

5. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you have to take with you?
I would want my guitar to keep me company and entertain myself. I would have a picture of my family so I wouldn't forget what they looked like, and I couldn't go anywhere without a change of underwear.

6. What is your most embarrassing moment? Why?
I was totally humiliated in third grade when I farted out loud. The whole class heard and they all knew it was me. It is one of the most traumatic things that can happen to a boy in third grade.

7. What's the best piece of advice that you ever received? Who was it from?
I try to live my life by a quote from Dennis Rogers that says, "Life is not about what happens to you, but what you do about what happens to you."

8. If you could go to dinner with anyone, who would it be?
I would want to go to dinner with actor Ben Stiller. We would make each other laugh so much that we wouldn't be able to eat dinner.

9. If there was a movie made about your life, what would it be called? Who would play you?
My movie would be called "Too Legit to Quit" because I never give up on anything. Ben Stiller would have to play me because he is so goofy and funny just like me.

10. What is one interesting fact that people don't know about you?
I am quite embarrassed of this but, I transform into a singer when I am in the shower. I hope nobody ever hears me!
