1. Who is/was your favorite player? Did you pattern your game after his?
Roger Clemens is my favorite player because he's a Texas guy with an incredible presence and demeanor on the mound. I pattern my pitching after Kevin Brown though.

2. Why did you choose Oklahoma to continue your baseball and academic career?
I wanted to be in a Christian atmosphere and I felt that Coach Cochell really lived and believed in Jesus. He didn't just speak of it.

3. If you could go to dinner with anyone (dead or alive), who would it be?
I would choose my grandfather because I'd really get to know him and share my life with him. He was a true fan of baseball and I think he would enjoy hearing what I've done in the game so far.

4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Why?
I wore a bright, colorful and baggy Cross Colours outfit on my first day of school at this preppy junior high. Everyone else was in khakis and collared shirts. I just wanted to get out of there!

5. What are your goals for this season, both as a team and personally?
I want to give 110% every time out and the rest will take care of itself.

6. What is your favorite baseball movie?
For Love of the Game, with Kevin Costner, was a great baseball movie!

7. For you, what is "must-see TV?"
I enjoy the reality shows. There's a new Survivor series starting up soon, so I'll be watching that. Real World, Road Rules, Temptation Island, all of those are fun to watch.

9. What is your favorite non-baseball professional sports team?
The Dallas Mavericks! Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Michael Finley... those guys are really fun to watch. I remember when the Mavs were really bad, so it's good to see them winning now.

10. Why do you wear the jersey number you do?
Somehow, I got No. 38, but my favorite number is 27. I guess it's just what I've worn and I've done alright in it, so I won't change.

11. If there was a movie made about your life, what would it be called and who would play you?
The movie would be called "Who Knows What God Plans" and I'd have to find an actor taller than most of the guys I see out there.
