Sooners Eliminated At Midland Invitational

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma men's tennis team went 0-1 in doubles action at the Midland Invitational in Midland, Texas, Saturday afternoon. The tournament was held at the Midland Raquet Club with a field including players from Stanford, USC, UCLA, Pepperdine, Arizona, North Carolina, Illinois, Portland, SMU, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas, Baylor and Texas A&M.

Sophomores Alex Nomicos (Targoviste, Romania) and Matt Long (Fort Worth, Texas) were eliminated from doubles competition after losing to Texas' Andrew Hoskins and Roger Gubser (8-3).
