Oklahoma improves to 13-1 (3-0 Big 12) with the 65-48 victory, while Oklahoma State falls to 9-6 (1-1 Big 12). It was the 18th consecutive Big 12 regular season victory for the Sooners.

The Sooners' win gives OU a point in The Bank of Oklahoma Bedlam Series, Presented by Your Oklahoma Ford Dealers. The series now stands at 4-2, OSU.

Oklahoma has now won seven of its last eight meetings with the Cowgirls, although OSU leads the all-time series 34-33. Tonight's win was the largest home win over OSU since a 22-point win in 1998.

With one more win, Oklahoma will match the best start in school history. The 1985-86 Sooner squad opened the season 14-1.

Twelve of Oklahoma's 13 wins this season have been by double digits. The lone single-digit win came in the season opener, an 80-75 win over Purdue at the State Farm Tip-Off Classic in Durham, N.C.

In the Lloyd Noble Center, OU has won 15 games in a row and 21 of its last 22 contests. It has won 10 consecutive Big 12 Conference games at home.

Tonight's attendance of 8,402 was the fifth largest home crowd in Lloyd Noble Center history. In addition, it was the ninth largest crowd ever to see the Sooners in action.

Oklahoma held a 33-17 halftime lead. The Sooners shot 46.9% from the field in the opening stanza, while holding OSU to just 23.3% shooting (7-for-30).

With her 16 points, Stacey Dales moved into sixth place on OU's all-time scoring list with 1,518. She passed Angi Guffy (1992-95), who scored 1,511 points as a Sooner.

Dales also dished out four assists; tonight was her eighth consecutive game leading the team in assists.

LaNeishea Caufield scored 18 points, her 11th game of the season in double digits. She also tied her career-high with eight rebounds.

Caton Hill narrowly missed her fourth double-double of the season, with 11 points and nine rebounds.

OU's "Triple Threat" of Caufield, Dales and Hill scored 45 of the 65 Sooner points, 69.2% and just three points fewer than the entire Oklahoma State team. Coming into tonight's game, the trio had scored 58% of OU's points.

Oklahoma held the Cowgirls to their lowest point total of the season. Their previous low was 54 points, in a 73-54 loss on Nov. 24 vs. Penn State.

Trisha Skibbe, OSU's leading scorer coming into tonight's game with a 14.8 ppg average, was held to just six points.

OU held a 42-32 rebounding edge tonight, the 11th opponent the Sooners have out-rebounded on the season and the ninth in the row.

OU also enjoyed a 17-5 edge in assists.
